So finally had to crack the heads and jugs off, the base gaskets were just leaking to much. Good news is the jugs look great...(don't they always). They still have a good cross hatch and the pistons have a little carbon build up but nothing to worry about, a little clean up and should be fine. I however did find out that I broke my top motor mount.....hmmm I wonder if that would cause that strange vibration I've been hunting! Does not surprise me, she is a stroker, damn near jerked her own lips right off!

'61 trans rebuild

I did a full rebuild on the '61 trans. while it was apart I blasted the case (thanks Bill) and coated the inside with dolphs. it got a new mainshaft, race, bearings, countershaft, all new andrews gears and Jims forks and small parts. just about everything new and American made. glad its done...it took me longer than it should have but its all within spec and looks good. Viva la 4 SPEED!

Unsure how I feel about this...

The tech side of me says "wow", the artistic side pukes.
